Question by .: Is there such a thing as Lily of the Valley essential Oil? 2-How to make a 100% NATURAL LOTV perfume or water?
It’s offered on eBay and the sellers say it’s 100% pure natural EO but all my Google searches indicate that there is no such thing as Lily of The Valley (LOTV) Essential Oil (EO).

Does anyone know for sure? Maybe I haven’t googled it enough?

If anyone knows, why would it NOT be possible to extract EO out of LOTV?

I’m severely allergic to perfume and fragrance oils and can only use 100% natural EO’s so I need to know for sure.

Is there a way to get a 100% natural LOTV water perhaps, like an hydrosol or an absolute? Would macerating the flowers in a carrier oil (like jojoba or almond oil) make a LOTV perfume oil? What about macerating the fresh flowers in vodka? Has anyone tried this?

Synthetic is more common and it’s very difficult to get pure stuff it’s almost always adulterated.

I dunno if this is legit LOTV stuff but it says it’s 100%. Good luck.

Somewhere in these two vids is the directions on how to distill flower waters at home on your stove. You can always macerate with alcohol and I think that would produce a sharper scent of the flower rather than oil. With such a delicate scent as this even light soybean or almond oil as a carrier I fear would be too powerful and cover up the floral scent or at least muddle it. I personally would use a good gin like Hendricks (has notes of cucumber in it smells great and tastes good too) to macerate the flowers in rather than vodka. But that’s just me. Good luck.
