Q&A: Is it ok to use Bath and Body Works aromatherapy oils in a diffuser?

Question by oh geez: Is it ok to use Bath and Body Works aromatherapy oils in a diffuser?
I was wondering if I could use a Bath and Body Works aromatherapy oil in my diffuser. It uses an air pump to disperse the oil into the air in a fine mist. I noticed on the Bath and Body Works website it says that the oils should be used with an oil warmer.

Also, I couldn’t find out if the oils were 100% essential oils. Could they still be used regardless? Does it even matter? Sorry, I’m new to oils and diffusers!

Just lovely. Beautiful pink water. Leaves me soft and the scent perfumes my skin for a few hours. Love it. The music was Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me” in Japanese whic was PERFECT! Sadly, it was removed. Oh well. Thank you for those flowers, PH. They were divine. 48.

Question by charlie: Is it safe to put a few drops of eucalyptus oil in the bath while pregnant?
I have a sinus infection and am very stuffy. I usually take a bath and put about 10 drops of eucalyptus oil in the tub.

Is this safe to do while pregnant? I am 26 weeks.

All forms of eucalyptus oil should be avoided by pregnant or breast-feeding women because of its known toxicity. It is not clear if eucalyptus oil is passed to babies through breast milk, but there have been cases of infant deaths from taking eucalyptus oil by mouth-found this on the internet. I wasn’t sure myself if it was safe. Good luck!

yes, it can be used, but it might gum up your bath tub. Just be sure to scrub it out after the bath.
